At Kevin Barr Music, I believe in offering Piano & Keyboard tuition that’s not only high-quality and exceptional value but also affordable, flexible and tailored to you.

Whether you’re just starting out or working towards advanced goals, there’s a lesson plan to your suit every need and budget.

✨ Keep an eye out for exclusive seasonal discounts during Spring, Summer, and the Christmas period, when tuition fees are reviewed to make lessons even more accessible.

Set out below are the current piano and keyboard tuition fees and you will notice that the most cost effective way to pay for tuition is by paying for 11 lessons in advance:

11 x 20min lessons = £187 *

11 x 30min lessons = £275

11 x 45min lessons = £390

11 x 60min lessons = £506

Short-Term Option: Ideal for those wanting flexibility while still saving compared to weekly payments.

5 x 20min lessons = £100 *

5 x 30min lessons = £140

5 x 45min lessons = £202

5 x 60min lessons = £260

Pay As You Go: A flexible choice if you prefer a lesson-by-lesson arrangement.

1 x 20min lessons = £24 *

1 x 30min lessons = £32

1 x 45min lessons = £45

1 x 60min lessons = £60

* N.B. 20-minute lessons are only available to students at Epping Primary School or St Andrews CE Primary School, North Weald where applicable to accomodate school schedules.

✅ Flexible Music Tuition

Home-Based Tuition: I offer lessons in the comfort of your own home if you live within a 25-mile radius of Harlow, Essex. This can be combined with online sessions for flexibility.

Online Lessons: Available to everyone, wherever you’re located, and can be mixed with home-based sessions depending on your location, needs and availability.

School Tuition: Offered during school hours at Epping Primary and St Andrews CE Primary, North Weald. Additional home-based and online lessons can be arranged during holidays, and I can help students prepare for assemblies or concerts.

🎬 Additional Services (Ancillary Fees)

I also offer support beyond the lesson:

Portfolio and CV help, Rehearsal and Audition Attendance, Career Guidance, Studio sessions and more… All ancillary services are priced the same as standard tuition and are negotiable depending on time/travel.

📜 Terms & Conditions

Students are required to maintain at all times a minimum credit balance equivalent to one lesson in order to ensure uninterrupted tuition. Any cancellation or request to reschedule must be made with no less than 48 hours’ notice; where insufficient notice is provided, the lesson fee will be charged in full, and the reserved time slot may be offered to another student. Lessons missed without notice, or lessons in which the student is unable to participate due to the absence of essential materials—such as books, folders or other required resources—may also incur the full lesson fee. For students under the age of eighteen, a parent or responsible adult must be present during all lessons, whether delivered in person at the student’s home or conducted online. Tuition fees paid in advance are non-refundable in the event that the student cancels their lessons entirely, as advance payments secure tuition at a discounted rate and cannot be reimbursed once purchased. Any complimentary or “free” lessons offered, including those obtained through referral schemes, will correspond to the student’s standard lesson duration. Kevin Barr Music accepts no responsibility for any third-party purchases, equipment choices or related decisions made on the basis of guidance or recommendations provided. Tuition for ABRSM and Trinity College London examinations is offered only where the student intends to take their exam in person at an approved examination centre; tuition is not provided for online-only examination entries.
