Juno nominated Yukon musician, Kevin Barr is raising the bar with his first single CD release titled Lost and Found. Taking inspiration from childhood memories and musical mentors, this solo foray includes songs penned by him along with songs learned at the family hearth from his father, uncles and family friends. It’s a musical journey of songs not forgotten fused with original tunes conceived from years of sharing the stage with various musicians and bands in Yukon and internationally.
A veteran of the Yukon music scene, journeyman Barr has created Lost and Found with a wealth of experience drawn from his impressive musical career, most notably as lead singer and co-founder of the The Undertakin Daddies, nominated for a Juno in 2001 and a Western Coast Music Award in 2002. He is proud to note that Lost and Found is a self- funded venture recorded with long time friend and collaborator Tim Jeffery (formerly of the Honky Tonk Heroes) at his Riverfront Studio in Bragg Creek Alberta.
